Stockport Business Awards 2016 takes place on Thursday 13th October in the spectacular ballroom at Stockport Town Hall, and tickets are now on sale.

The awards, organised by local accountancy practice Clarke Nicklin, are now celebrating their 5th year and the winners of all 12 categories will be announced on the night.

The tickets have sold out each year to just the shortlisted companies alone, but this year an increased capacity at the Town Hall means other Stockport businesses can join in the celebrations. There’s still only a limited number available so if you’re interested contact Chelsea Maher at Clarke Nicklin on 0161 495 4700.

Andrew Baggott of Clarke Nicklin commented; “Stockport is home to many vibrant and successful companies and we hope as many as possible come along on the night to celebrate the achievements of the businesses that have made it onto the shortlist. The event is set to be bigger and better than ever this year and we already can’t wait!”

Organisers are still looking for candidates for the coveted ‘Special Recognition Award.’ Sponsored by Stockport Council & Stockport Economic Alliance, this award recognises an individual/group that has made an outstanding contribution to the Stockport Business Community. Previous winners include The Robinsons Family, Wayne Jones of MAN Diesel & Turbo UK, and Tom Hogg of CDL.

The Stockport Business Awards is an event set up for businesses by businesses. It is organised by accountancy practice Clarke Nicklin, and headline sponsors are high profile businesses from the region; Gorvins Solicitors, Orbit Developments and NatWest.
