The Stockport Business Awards is an event that has been organised with the aim of celebrating business excellence within the Stockport Borough and the hope of creating a business community in the area.

Stockport is one of the best places to do business in the whole of Greater Manchester. We have enterprises of every size, shape and description, a skilled workforce, great transport links and infrastructure, world famous corporations and legions of SME’s. An annual awards dinner will be held as a culmination of the celebrations and will recognise, reward and showcase the very best that Stockport has to offer.

A key strength of the Stockport Business Awards is that it is organised and managed by businesses and business people. Stockport based business, Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants, are organisers and main sponsors, they first set the event up back in 2012. In addition, headline sponsors are high profile entities from the region; Gorvins Solicitors and Orbit Developments. This all ensures that the Stockport Business Awards will create a long term legacy to benefit the regions businesses and entrepreneurs.

On an on-going basis, Stockport Business Awards will support a quarterly networking event called Stockport Business Networking. This event gives Stockport Business people a chance to relax after a day in the office and meet like-minded business people.
