Founders and organisers, Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants, are thrilled to be getting preparations ready for the 2021 Stockport Business Awards. Not only is it the 10 year anniversary of the event, new category sponsors have come on board to support the event this year, these include last year’s winners Mayfield floors who will be sponsoring Business of the Year up to £1m, the Business Growth hub, who are sponsoring Employer of the Year, Sage UK, who will be sponsoring Most promising Young Business, and Three Sixty who are sponsoring Best Not-for-Profit Organisation.
Mayfield Floors managing Director, Anthony Francis, commented “last time we attended the Stockport Business Awards we were fortunate to win Business of the Year £1-5M, we had an amazing time at the event and it had such a great impact on our business that this year we are proud to be sponsoring and supporting this year’s event, we can’t wait for a truly amazing evening.”
Liam Connors, Stockport Account Manager for the Business Growth Hub, Said “We’re incredibly proud that we are taking the opportunity to celebrate the success of Stockport Businesses and sponsoring the Employer of the Year Award, we are looking forward to celebrating on the night.”
Chris Downing, Director of Product Marketing at Sage UK commented “We are delighted to be a part of the 10th Stockport Business Awards and sponsoring the Most Promising Young Business Award, the entrepreneurial spirit and vision to grow, build and nurture a business has never been tested as much as it has been over the past year, however, is great to see new businesses flourish despite exceptional challenges and recognising their success in these awards.”
Jason Tighe, Head of Maintenance and Commercial Services at Three Sixty commented “we are really excited to see the awards back this year, bigger and better than ever before, we’re proud to have been involved in previous awards and recognised for our social value and responsibility. We would like to wish everyone entering this year, the best of luck and we really hope you enjoy the experience.”
Clarke Nicklin will be joined once again by Headline Sponsors Gorvins Solicitors and receive ongoing support from Category sponsors; Ashcroft Creative, Marketing Stockport, Stockport Council and Stockport Economic Alliance.
After the 2020 awards were cancelled last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it is an, even more, special and anticipated event than usual, with the awards celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. The event will once again take place at the iconic Stockport Town Hall on Thursday 30th September and Strawberry Radio will be championing the event as this year’s media partner.
Managing Partner of Clarke Nicklin, Andrew Baggott, commented “We’re really looking forward to celebrating our 10th Anniversary this year. We are always grateful to those businesses who support the event by sponsoring. This will be an important year for businesses to come together and celebrate as a community all that they have achieved through the difficulties of the past year.”
