The Stockport business community came together last week for the official Stockport Business Awards launch evening, at Stockroom. The event hosted by Stockport Business Awards founders and organisers, CN Chartered Accountants presented exciting developments for the 2026 awards. Including sponsor announcements, charity partner, category announcements and the awards celebration evening taking place on of Stockport’s most iconic venues on 8th October.
This years headline sponsors are: CN Chartered Accountants, Gorvins Solicitors and Robinsons Brewery . The category sponsors include: HSBC, CN Financial Planning, CN Strategic Advisors, Platform 81, Marketing Stockport, Stockport College, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council with Stockport Economic Alliance.
Thursday evening’s launch event welcomed a diverse mix of businesses and business leaders for an evening of networking and collaboration.
Another key moment of the evening was the introduction of this year’s chosen charity partner, Signpost for Carers, whose essential work supporting local carers brought a deeply meaningful dimension to the event.
Former award winners shared insights into how participation in the Stockport Business Awards has helped them gain recognition, celebrate their teams, and elevate their business profiles. Guests were encouraged to enter the 2026 awards, with the programme offering a range of categories designed to spotlight achievement, innovation, and community impact across the region.
