Stockport Business Awards on the Hunt for New Charity Partner

by

Founders and organisers of the Stockport Business Awards, Clarke Nicklin, are once again on the hunt for a charity partner for the 2019 event. Entries are now open for charities to apply for the opportunity to partner up with event and benefit from all fundraising activities and proceeds from the awards. The chosen charity will get links and branding on the Stockport Business Awards website, PR coverage before and after the awards, promotion in the awards brochure, the opportunity to make a short speech on the night and to form new relationships with local business people.

The Stockport Business Awards has been an iconic event within the business community of Stockport since 2012. Last Year’s chosen charity partner, Signpost Stockport for Carers, raised over £4000 on the awards evening, Julia Hewer, Deputy Director at Signpost Stockport for Carers commented “We were absolutely thrilled to be the charity partner of the 2018 Stockport Business Awards. The generous donations made on the night have enabled more of our Borough’s unpaid carers to get a valuable break. The Awards have also given our charity an invaluable opportunity to connect with local businesses”.

Managing Partner, Andrew Baggott of Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants, said: “We are delighted to have supported so many amazing charities over the past seven years and see the benefits of the events fundraising. It’s a fantastic chance for charity organisations to raise their profile in Stockport and benefit from such a generous community”
